Jane Marlow

Jane has written over 50 episodes of the UK’s most-watched hour and half-hour dramas. Her work has been nominated at the British Soap Awards and, as part of the writing team for THE BILL, won the Writers’ Guild Award for Best Soap/Continuing Drama. Having turned her focus to developing authored drama, Jane currently has a single, DOWN TO EARTHA, in development with Kay Mellor’s Rollem Productions, and has been commissioned by Alpha Bear Productions and West End producer Jacob Wagen to write her first play, set in 1930s America. Jane is also one of three writer-creators of AUGUSTE ET CESAR (funded by the Centre National du Cinéma) about the iconic Auguste Escoffier and César Ritz’s time at the Savoy Hotel in London. Other projects in development include a TV adaptation of her young adult novel I MISS YOU ALREADY.  Previously, Jane has made two short films as writer/producer/director and actress: DANCING ALONE won Best British Drama at the Discover Film Awards in London (2017) with Jane also Best Actress in a lead role; and high-concept psychological thriller TAKE ME BACK, which went into production earlier this year.
