Anji Loman Field

Anji is currently writing for BBC’s DOCTORS, while also commissioned to write feature screenplay INAPPROPRIATE PRACTICE.  She has previously been a core writer on EASTENDERS and written for HOLBY CITY, as well as writing a number of original plays for BBC Radio 4, including BLACKOUT, THE PERFECT HUSBAND, DARK CORNERS and PHYSICS, which starred David Tennant. Anji wrote the 8 x 50 minute comedy drama series SINGLES for German broadcaster ZDF as well as TV movie EMAIL TO GOD for PRO 7.  In addition to her scriptwriting, Anji has also storylined and script edited shows for BBC World Service Trust in Cambodia and Vietnam – THE TASTE OF LIFE and HOUSE WITH MANY WINDOWS (which she also created) – and has written many socially engaged south-east Asian single dramas (several of which she also produced), as well as soap opera pilot DAYS OF HOPE and romantic comedy feature STAYING SINGLE.
