A core member of the multi-award-winning writing team at EMMERDALE, Julie has written over 150 episodes of ITV’s much-loved flagship show. Her adaptation of Katherine May’s memoirs THE ELECTRICITY OF EVERY LIVING THING was recently released on Audible, and has been shortlisted for the BRITISH PODCAST AWARDS. Julie has also written on BBC’s HOLBY CITY, ITV’s BAD GIRLS and Sky’s DREAM TEAM. In addition to her screenwriting credits, Julie had her first children’s book – GISSITBACK – published in 2018 and is busy developing the first in her series of young adult novels entitled THE WARRIORS OF WEST WITTERING. She currently has a number of original television projects in development, ranging from offbeat comedies to a visceral West Country thriller.
