Debbie is the creator and lead writer of CBBC’s teen werewolf drama WOLFBLOOD, which ran for five seasons and won her a Best Children’s Writer BAFTA. She has also written two feature-length episodes of the bilingual Welsh detective series HINTERLAND, and episodes of THE SPARTICLE MYSTERY and DOG YEARS. Her post-apocalyptic drama RETROSPECT is in development with Running Mantis, Australia, and she is also developing DRAGON GIRL, a television adaptation of the Emba Oak epic fantasy books. Other projects in active development include a spy thriller feature, a children’s fantasy feature, and a series about the 1970’s UK wrestling scene. Debbie has also written numerous short stories, co-written a radioplay with Ruth Jones, and her time-travel novel FALLING was long-listed for Welsh Book Of The Year.
