Gabby is a regular writer on HORRIBLE HISTORIES and the upcoming HORRIBLE SCIENCE, and has written for and co-created SARAH MILLICAN’S ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM for Radio 4. She wrote LEGO’s animated REBUILD THE WORLD short films, won silver at the British Podcast Awards for the BBC’s HOMESCHOOL HISTORY, regularly writes for WELCOME STRANGERS for Radio Wales, and adapted an audio comedy drama for 2000AD’s Futureshocks Radio. Other radio credits include THE NEWS QUIZ, THE NOW SHOW, DEAD RINGERS, DILEMMA, LISTOMANIA, LEWIS MACLEOD IS NOT HIMSELF, THE VOTE NOW SHOW, PIXEL FIX, LEWIS MACLEOD’S WIRED NEWS and SPOTLIGHT TONIGHT WITH NISH KUMAR, alongside writing and script editing for NEWSJACK. Gabby was one of the main writers on ITV’s NEWZOIDS. In 2014 and 2015 she was granted a bursary to work as a BBC Radio Comedy Staff Writer, where in addition to working on in-house comedy shows, she wrote promos, trailers, ran official BBC social media accounts, and read and judged submissions to NEWSJACK and THE NEW COMEDY AWARD. She has script edited a sitcom for BBC Radio Comedy, and has co-written Sue Perkins’ ZOOPEDIA and MANDRAKE AND ME for Audible Originals. Gabby also writes novels – the latest, CURSED UNDER LONDON, has recently been published by Farrago books, alongside DARKWOOD (2019), SUCH BIG TEETH (2020), GLASS COFFIN (2021), WISH YOU WEREN’T HERE (2021), OUT OF SERVICE (2022), and HOME SWEET HELL (2023).
