Jasmine is an emerging screenwriter, with a focus on dark comedy. She started out making shorts with small production companies, and completed a filmmaking masters whilst working as a Runner, Third AD and Director’s Assistant. She won lottery funding from Creative England for her comedy short THE DEVIL’S IN THE DETAIL, which went to several festivals. Recently her script FALSE START was in the final of the Sitcom Mission competition, which was performed at two showcases in London. Jasmine works in communications whilst writing comedy scripts, and is currently developing original ideas. Her Indian heritage drives her to write varied characters, and she’s passionate about great representation.
