Bristol born, Brighton based writer, Julie, has written over 200 episodes of ITV’s multi-award winning, much-loved flag-ship show, EMMERDALE. She is currently writing GOOD SHIP MURDER for Channel 5 and has previously written for BBC’s HOLBY CITY, Sky’s DREAM TEAM and ITV’s BAD GIRLS. Her adaptation of Katherine May’s memoirs THE ELECTRICITY OF EVERY LIVING THING won silver at The British Podcast Awards 2023. In addition to her screenwriting credits, Julie had her first children’s book – GISSITBACK – published in 2018. She currently has a number of original television projects in development, ranging from offbeat comedies to a visceral thriller, celebrating the weird and wonderful folk of the West Country.
