Tom is a comedy writer who works both solo and in partnership with Nev Fountain. Together they are lead writers on the multi-award-winning DEAD RINGERS for Radio 4 and previously headed up the TV version of the show on BBC2. They are also senior writers at Private Eye and are currently writing an audio six-part Sci-Fi sitcom for Big Finish. Writing individually, Tom had two scripts of his sitcom F U DANIEL MARKS commissioned by Sky TV in 2021, and the project is now in development at Amazon Prime. He is currently developing an action-comedy screenplay for SharpHouse Productions. Tom is also a popular children’s author of titles such as the SPROUTZILLA books and THE BIG BAD MOOD for Bloomsbury.
