Tom is a comedy and children’s writer across television and radio based in Glasgow. He has recently written episodes for CBeebies’s SWASHBUCKLE and was previously commissioned to write a script for a children’s podcast pilot for BBC Children’s online. He has been a commissioned story writer for the BBC Scotland cop comedy SCOT SQUAD and a regular writer for BBC Radio Scotland’s BREAKING THE NEWS. In 2018 he was selected to be part of the inaugural BBC Writersroom ‘Scottish Voices’ development programme for emerging writers. From there his original radio comedy pilot SUE & JOHN was broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland and was nominated for a Celtic Media Award in 2020.
