Lisa McMullin

Lisa’s first play, SIREN SONG, was produced at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre in 2013, and her second play, RAPTURE, was performed at the Barons Court Theatre before receiving a full run at the Etcetera Theatre. Lisa’s television dramas have been shortlisted for the BBC Drama Writers’ Programme, the BAFTA/Rocliffe New Writing Forum, the LSF/Script Angel Screenwriting Award and the New Dramatists’ Club Prize; she was also a BBC Scotland Fast Train Drama Writing Finalist. Currently with a contemporary drama series under option with Hat Trick, Lisa’s other new original projects include a comedy drama about identity, belonging and mental health – JANGLED – and Dark Web crime drama SPIDER.  She has recently been writing for Big Finish’s SURVIVORS series, and her first episode of BBC drama DOCTORS is set to air later this year. Also with the BBC, Lisa has just been commissioned to write an episode of EASTENDERS as part of the 2018 Shadow Scheme.
